Man and woman arrested for pandering following raid
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A man and woman have been arrested in connected to the raid that was conducted Thursday afternoon at a house on Kirk Avenue, near East Bonanza Road and North Eastern Avenue.
According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, 35-year-old Maricruz Ortiz-Guevara and 46-year-old Miguel Barahona were arrested.
They are being charged with three counts of pandering and living off the earnings of prostitutes.
There were a total of five people in the home at the time of the raid.
The other three people at the residence are being treated as victims of prostitution.
The house was raided by LVMPD's SWAT team after police received a tip.
The pair was booked into Clark County Detention Center following their arrest.
LVMPD are now calling the house an illegal brothel and say that the investigation is ongoing.
