Vegas dancer ordered to trial in fatal DUI case
LAS VEGAS (AP) -- A Las Vegas judge ruled there is enough evidence for a 26-year-old strip club dancer to stand trial in state court on a felony driving under the influence charge in a crash that killed a 33-year-old man.
Shauna Diane Miller was returned Thursday in shackles to jail to await arraignment June 24 in Clark County District Court.
She could face 20 years in prison and a $5,000 fine if she's convicted.
She's accused of having a blood-alcohol level more than twice the legal limit and a marijuana level more than five times the limit when the Hummer she was driving home from work plowed into a Ford Escort a little before 7:30 a.m. March 23.
The crash killed James White. White's 2-year-old son, in a car seat, received minor injuries.
