Goldberg family visits site where murdered taxi driver's body found
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- It was an emotional day for the family of Keith Goldberg, the taxi driver who was murdered in early 2012.
Jeff and Jodi Goldberg knew this was going to be a tough day. But they said they needed to come here to get some kind of closure.
Members of Red Rock Search and Rescue drove the siblings to this remote area.
They won't reveal publicly exactly where this is, but it's where searchers found Keith Goldberg's remains in April.
For Keith Goldberg's older brother and younger sister, just knowing where his killers left his body is a huge deal.
It took volunteers with Red Rock Search and Rescue more than a year just to get permission to comb this area after Las Vegas police stopped searching.
"It's a relief to know that we're able to see where he was found... we know there are still parts of him still out here," said Jeffrey Goldberg.
It's been a draining couple of days for Jeff and Jodi Goldberg.
Yesterday, they watched as their brother's accused murderers Christopher and Georgene Ross... showed up in court.
That's when the judge decided their trial, set for next spring, will not be split.
