Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A special event was held Friday to remember a 17-year-old who was killed in a tragic car crash.
Jahlonn Williams-Beard died across the street from Mohave High School, when the car he was driving was hit by another teenager, who was going twice the speed limit.
Jahlonn's 13-year-old sister was critically injured in the crash.
Friends and family remembered and honored Jahlonn through a basketball game on Friday at Mojave High School.
The players on both sides of the court have had a relationship with Jahlonn. That's because he spent his first two years of high school playing for Legacy, and his last two years playing for Mojave.
Friends and family told Action News his sister, Mena, is still in the hospital at the ICU. She apparently is in an induced come because of swelling to her brain.
