Fight over between singer Wayne Newton and ex-business partner
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The fight between Wayne Newton and his estranged business partner-turned-landlord Steve Kennedy is over.
According to a release sent to the media, all disputes between Wayne Newton and CSD Management, owned by Kennedy, have been "resolved to everyone's mutual satisfaction."
The release also said that the details of the settlement between the parties are not available since the agreement was sealed by court order.
The fight began over plans to turn Newton's 40-acre Las Vegas estate, known as Casa de Shenandoah, into a celebrity museum and tourist attraction.
The project sparked allegations of fraud, mismanagement, animal abuse and sexual harassment.
According to family friend and entertainment reporter Alicia Jacobs, Newton has purchased a property from producer Norbert Alemans.
She reported the news on her Twitter account.
A search of the Clark County property records show that three properties were recorded on May 17, 2013. They are located in the 5800 block of South Lamb Boulevard, 4100 block of East Quendo Road and 5800 block of South Gateway Road.
