Rally planned in effort to save Catholic school
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The oldest Catholic school in Las Vegas is getting ready to close its doors but parents are fighting back.
This morning, parents were outside the school handing out flyers about a rally that is scheduled for Sunday.
In addition, parents have started a Facebook campaign in an effort to save the school.
But, school leaders say the closure will happen.
According to them, there is not enough money to keep the doors open.
The rally is scheduled to take place during the 8 a.m. mass at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 315 S. Casino Center Drive.
Students are encouraged to dress in their school uniforms. Supporters should also bring posters and banners.
