Man pleads guilty to evading taxes in prostitution earnings
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A Las Vegas man has pleaded guilty to tax evasion for income earned from pandering and living from the earnings of a prostitute.
34-year-old Johnny Ray Taylor pleaded guilty in federal court on Tuesday for one count of tax evasion.
Taylor was charged earlier in May, accused of earning more than $230,000 in gross income in 2010 alone.
Court paperwork alleges he willfully attempted to evade paying income tax.
Taylor agreed to pay restitution to the IRS for income earned from 2008-2010. He admitted earning income from criminal activity, including living from the earnings of a prostitute and pandering.
The U.S. Attorney's Office in Las Vegas is the prosecutor in the case.
Las Vegas Metro Police are also investigating.
