Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A candlelight vigil was held Monday night to remember a young man who died from an asthma attack, only months after his sister was kidnapped and murdered.
Jordan Myers, 21, was helping a friend remove some carpeting when the asthma attack happened. Nearly 100 people gathered to remember him at Firefighters Memorial Park. There were lots of tears and hugs shared.
Jordan's mother and sister showed up to thank the community for their support. Just five months ago, they were at a different candlelight vigil for Jordan's 10-year-old sister, Jade Morris.
Morris was murdered in December. Her body was found dumped on the side of a North Las Vegas road, after she had been missing for days.
Morris' father's girlfriend, Brenda Stokes, is in jail for the young girl's death.
If you'd like to help the family, there's a fund set-up under Jade Morris at U.S. Bank.
