Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- There's a new way to support local veterans on this Memorial Day Weekend.

A new thrift store is now open at Veterans Village on West Charleston.

Profits will be used to help homeless vets.

"To look around here, there are some wonderful purchases and most importantly, it's the job training and the ability to mix and mingle and learn new skills and get back into society," said Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman.

Right now, the store even has some donated items from local retailers, along with Caesars and MGM.

The store is also offering an extra 10-percent discount for any U.S. veteran who shops there.

It's located at 6059 West Charleston Boulevard in Las Vegas.
