Salvation Army seeing shortage of baby product donations
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Salvation Army Family Services Offices gives between 60 and 150 food boxes to families in need every weekday. For families with infants and toddlers, they provide food, formula, diapers and other sanitary needs.
At this time, they are not able to offer much to those families because the shelves of baby food and baby care items are nearly empty.
"We have size 3 diapers but none of the other sizes of diapers. We have almost no baby food or formula, no wipes or diaper cream. We work with so many families that have infants and small children and it is so disappointing not to be able to be of more help to them when they need it most," said Bernadette Basilio with the Salvation Army.
If you'd like to make donations, you can drop them off at 1581 North Main Street or 2900 Palomino Lane, both in Las Vegas.
