Judge denies bail for two men accused of killing teen during iPad robbery
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Bail has been denied for the two men accused of robbing and killing a 15-year-old boy over an iPad.
Michael Solid, 21, and Jacob Dismont, 18, appeared in a Las Vegas courtroom Thursday morning.
According to a police report, the two men were looking for a victim when they spotted Marcos Arenas carrying his iPad near Torrey Pines Drive and Charleston Boulevard.
Police say that Dismont grabbed the iPad from Arenas and then jumped into a SUV. Arenas refused to let go of the iPad was dragged and then ran over by the SUV.
A preliminary hearing date has been set for 9:30 June 7.
