Former soccer coach sentenced in sexual assault case
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A former youth soccer coach was sentenced to prison on Monday after agreeing to a plea deal in a sexual assault case.
Marvin Juarez will spend 23 years to life in prison for lewdness with a child under 14, use of a minor in producing pornography and attempted sexual assault with a minor.
Juarez was arrested last May after police said he raped a young boy he coached. Police paperwork stated that Juarez would treat the boy to shopping trips and restaurants before assaulting him at his apartment.
The boy told his mother, which led to an investigation and Juarez's arrest.
If Juarez ever leaves prison, he'll be required to register as a sex offender.
