Local EMT students take part in disaster drill
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A local ambulance company participated in a disaster drill on Saturday.
Community Ambulance exercised its emergency response plan with about 30 EMT students participating as required training.
The scenario mimicked an explosion in a building with "victims" suffering simulated wounds. EMT students rescued the "victims" before giving them care and transporting them from the scene.
The event took place at the EMS Training Center of Southern Nevada on Sunrise Avenue near Pecos and Charleston.
