Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- On Thursday, Richard Suen's attorneys presented their closing arguments. On Friday, attorneys for Sheldon Adelson made their final pitch to the jury as the case finally comes to a close.
Suen said he is responsible for securing a crucial gaming license that Las Vegas Sands needed in order to develop Macau into a gaming capital, becoming what is known as the Las Vegas of the east.
They said because of that, Suen deserves 2 percent of Las Vegas Sands Macau holdings which total $328 million.
Attorneys for Adelson continue to argue that they didn't need Suen's help and they were planning on developing the Chinese gaming enclave before Suen ever entered the picture.
The case was tried before and the jury ruled in Suen's favor, but that decision was appealed and overturned by the state Supreme Court.
