Motorcycle hits pedestrian near Las Vegas Strip

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A 58-year-old man from San Angelo, Texas, was critically injured Wednesday morning after being hit by a motorcycle while crossing Flamingo Road near Audrie Street.

The collision happened at about 3 a.m.

According to witness statements and evidence at the scene, the pedestrian -- John Quinton McCabe Jr. -- was not in a crosswalk at the time he was hit.

Both the pedestrian and the 21-year-old motorcyclist -- Nestor Guzman-Hernandez -- were transported to University Medical Center Trauma with minor to critical injuries.

The collision remains under investigation.
