Fire at Las Vegas medical building ruled accidental

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The fire at a two-story medical office building earlier this week, near Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center has been ruled accidental.
It happened Wednesday morning in the 3000 block of South Maryland Parkway.
The building houses Quest Diagnostics, West Coast Imaging, Southern Nevada Medical Group and Sunrise Pediatrics.
Kelly Blackmon with the Clark County Fire Department said the fire was an accident and it was electrical in nature.
Damage was estimated at $1 million.
Employees arriving to work smelled smoke and were able to evacuate before the fire department arrived. No injuries were reported.
