Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A mega bowling center is on its way to the Valley.
Construction will begin in late May on the $30 million facility at the South Point Hotel and Casino.
With 60 lanes, it will easily be able to host several annual bowling events and tournaments.
On Wednesday, the South Point, the United States Bowling Congress (USBC), Las Vegas Events (LVE), and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) announced a 12-year deal to host several annual USBC events inside the new facility.
"South Point already runs a premier bowling center where casual fans, amateurs and professionals from all over the world come to play the game they love," said Michael Gaughan, owner of South Point. "This new bowling tournament facility we're building with the USBC will provide an unrivaled destination for bowling enthusiasts and add another dynamic element to attract visitors to South Point and Las Vegas."
South Point's current bowling center will continue its operations.
