Welcome to Las Vegas Sign goes blue for Foster Care Month
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The World-Famous Welcome to Las Vegas Sign has gone blue.
On Wednesday, workers switched out the traditional yellow bulbs for blue ones.
It's being done for National Foster Care Month.
According to the county, more than 3,000 Clark County children from toddlers to teenagers are in the foster care system.
The blue lights are to serve as a reminder that many of them need a temporary home, before they are returned to their biological families.
The sign will stay blue for the next week.
