Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A high-tech Henderson company K2 Energy Solutions opened its doors on Tuesday to local city leaders.
K2 will manufacture lithium phosphate powered batteries, which can be used in flashlights, cameras and other gadgets.
They plan on involving the community as they grow.
"We plan on building a factory in one or two years nearby or next door hopefully, and that would add 100 to 200 jobs," said CEO Johnnie Stoker.
Henderson Mayor Andy Hafen also presented a proclamation to honor the opening of the facility.
