Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A detailed report has been released regarding the alleged patient dumping by the Rawson-Neal Psychiatric Hospital in Las Vegas.
The report was issued by the Department of Health and Human Services and it outlines how employees at Rawson-Neal were disciplined and how many patients were discharged improperly.
Of the nearly 1,500 cases examined, there were 10 instances where there was "insufficient documentation" concerning how patients got home.
Nine staff members were overseeing those cases. Four of them no longer work for Rawson-Neal.
Of the five remaining employees, two have been fired and the other three will be disciplined.
Congresswoman Dina Titus is getting involved because Rawson-Neal is in her district.
Governor Brian Sandoval has also weighed in on the situation and is holding people accountable.
