Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Local fire investigators are looking into what caused a mobile home fire.
Las Vegas and Clark County firefighters responded to the Bonanza Village Mobile Home Park on Stewart Avenue, for a double-wide mobile home fire early Saturday morning.
Dispatchers received multiple calls just after 1 a.m. that a mobile home was fully involved with fire and a car in front of the home was also on fire.
When crews arrived, their first concern was to ensure the fire did not spread to the other homes in the park.
Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control in 10 minutes, preventing it from spreading.
The home was destroyed by the fire, as well as one vehicle. Damage is estimated at $75,000.
A woman and her middle-aged son live in the home; neither was home at the time of the fire.
The cause is still under investigation.
