Jessica Janner named KTNV Channel 13 anchor
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Jessica Janner has joined the anchor desk for Good Morning Las Vegas and Action News Midday.
She is joining anchors Beth Fisher and Casey Smith and meteorologist Mike Tsolinas and traffic reporter Micah Manalo in the mornings and she will co-host Action News Midday at 11 a.m.
Janner was born in Brazil.She moved to the United States when she was seven years old. Janner grew up in Southern California and graduated from the University of Southern California. She also lived in Spain as an adult and speaks Portuguese and Spanish.
Janner came to Las Vegas after three years in Amarillo, Texas. She began her career as a morning anchor for NBC affiliate KAMR and then became the 9 p.m. news anchor for FOX affiliate KCIT.
Before becoming an anchor at KTNV, Janner was a reporter for more than a year with the news station.
During her spare time, Janner enjoys planning tennis, dancing, reading and walking her dog Rio.
