Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A man was arrested Wednesday morning after police said he drove through a church in Henderson.
Authorities said 51-year-old Kevin M. Wilson of Las Vegas plowed his car into the entrance of Central Christian Church on New Beginnings Drive just before 5 a.m.
The incident came after Wilson showed up to the church several times on Tuesday, asking to speak with a pastor. He was told to make an appointment, but refused and returned to the church several times.
Early the next morning, the church's alarm system went off and a car could be seen driving into the building on surveillance cameras, according to police.
Wilson also allegedly smashed windows, broke furniture and made holes in the walls.
Officers were called to the scene where they discovered thousands of dollars worth of damage caused by the Kia Spectra.
Wilson was booked at the Clark County Detention Center on burglary and destruction of property charges.
