Arizona Charlie's Decatur celebrating 25th anniversary

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Arizona Charlie's Decatur is celebrating its 25th anniversary on Thursday.
The public is invited to share in the celebration between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. There will be cake, coffee and champagne in the hotel lobby.
In addition, Mayor Carolyn Goodman will proclaim the day as "Arizona Charlie's Decatur Casino Day" during a ceremony at 10 a.m.
The City of Las Vegas Proclamation will be presented to vice president and general manager Ron Lurie, a former mayor of Las Vegas. Lurie will also present Mayor Goodman with special commemorative memorabilia.
Fifteen employees who have been with the property since it opened will also recognized for their service.
Arizona Charlie's Decatur is on the original site of the Charleston Height's Bowling Alley. The hotel-casino opened in 1988 with about 600 employees. Three employees who worked at the bowling alley are still employed by the hotel-casino.
The following specials and promotions will also be offered on April 25:
