OSHA probing worker death at Las Vegas road site
LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Authorities say a construction worker was killed when he was crushed by a pipe segment at a road-building project in northwest Las Vegas.
Occupational Safety and Health Enforcement and the Clark County coroner are investigating the Tuesday morning incident at a site near Fox Hill and Alta drives.
The man's name wasn't immediately made public.
OSHA chief Resty Malicdem says the man was struck by pipe during an unloading operation.
A fire spokesman says paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
