Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A new restaurant is coming to town that should make a lot of New York natives (and visitors) happy.
The Shake Shack -- famous for its hamburgers, hot dogs and frozen custards -- has announced plans to open a Las Vegas location as part of the park that was announced by the MGM Grand on Thursday.
According to the DailyMeal.com, Shake Shack founder Danny Meyer hopes that the new Las Vegas setting will bring together people like the original Madison Square location in New York City.
There are seven Shake Shack locations in New York, one in Miami, two in Washington, D.C., two in Connecticut, one in Philadelphia, and one just outside of Boston.
There are also international locations.
The new park is slated to open in early 2014.
