Christopher Dorner gun being auctioned in North Las Vegas for charity
North Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A North Las Vegas pawn shop is getting a lot of response to its auction of a handgun once owned by alleged cop-killer Christopher Dorner.
As of Tuesday afternoon, bids on the 38-Special had topped $2,000.
A co-owner of Bargain Pawn said he bought it from Dorner for $50, just days before Dorner's killing spree began.
He was hoping to give the money to the families of the police officers Dorner killed but they aren't interested.
Now 100-percent of the auction proceeds will go to charity.
