Second victim discovered in Mesquite homicide

Mesquite, NV (KTNV) -- Mesquite Police detectives discovered a second victim in the April 13 fatal stabbing.

MPD received information during the course of their investigation into the homicide of 50-year-old Michael Eldridge that there was possibly a second victim.

Detectives obtained a search warrant for a residence on East Mesquite Boulevard where they found the body of an unidentified adult male which was concealed in the basement of the residence.

On Monday afternoon, April 15, MPD officers arrested 30-year-old Jeremiah Juber of Hurricane, Utah, in connection with the homicide of the second victim.

Ryan Wood of Mesquite is being held in connection with the homicide of both victims.

The identification of the second victim will not be released until the Clark County coroner's office has completed an autopsy.
