Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Locals came together on Sunday to raise awareness about AIDS.
The 23rd annual AIDS Walk Las Vegas was held on the UNLV campus.
Over the past 20 years, this AIDS walk has become the largest fundraiser of the year for the non-profit Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN).
Local celebrities were on hand Sunday, including Penn & Teller who were the grand marshals.
"It's a really good cause. It's helping people that are living with AIDS, give them food, medicine, just help them out," the duo expressed.
Last year, more than 9,000 people walked raising more than $450,000 for the organization.
