Doctor says Overnight Diet can help people lose weight

(KTNV) -- There is a new diet that many people are talking about -- you slim down while you sleep.
It sounds too good to be true but one doctor says it worked for her.
It is called the Overnight Diet. Obesity Dr. Caroline Apovian insists six days of a high protein diet and one day of a liquid diet plus sleep equals weight loss.
But critics are skeptical.
While Dr. Apovian acknowledges the first two pounds are mostly water and salt, she says it provides the incentive for a high protein diet to lose more weight.
