LGBTQ community holds grand opening for new Las Vegas center

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Gay & Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada is officially open.
Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman cut the ribbon at Saturday's grand opening on the multi-million dollar facility.
Also on hand at Saturday's event was State Representative Dina Titus and Councilman Bob Coffins, plus dozens of community members who support the center.
The non-profit is a community based organization which supports activities directed at working with the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community.
The Gay & Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada is located at 401 South Maryland Parkway in Las Vegas.
The center is the newest part of the downtown renovations.
