Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County School District held a special safety meeting on Thursday to discuss student safety.
They are looking for ways to protect students in the wake of several tragic events around the country and they are trying to address every issue they can think of.
According to Rosemary Virtuoso, two of the topics were bullying and suicide.
Meeting organizers also talked about safe routes to school, crisis response and help from local law enforcement.
CCSD says they want to show parents that the safety of students and staff is the highest priority.
