New pedestrian bridges going up in North Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- New pedestrian bridges are going up in North Las Vegas.
Construction crews will close Cheyenne Avenue from Berg Street to Bassler Street from 9 p.m. Tuesday until 5 a.m. Wednesday to install the pedestrian bridges.
Detour signs will direct drivers to alternate routes.
Las Vegas Boulevard from Belmont Street to Van der Meer Street will close from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Thursday for additional pedestrian bridge installation.
The bridges are part of a $9 million project funded through grants from the Southern Nevada Public Lands Management Act.
