Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Of the 30,000 people running in the Rock 'n' Roll Las Vegas Marathon, there were about 200 that are a special breed of dedicated or crazy depending on your point of view.
Those 200 runners actually arrived in town just a few hours before the start of the marathon Sunday afternoon.
That's because they were busy at the Rock 'n' Roll San Antonio Marathon.
Many of them ran either the half or full marathon there Sunday morning before jumping on a flight to get to Las Vegas.
While many people might consider that crazy, the people pulling double duty see it as a challenge.
"I don't think running two races in the same day is crazy. I think I would be crazy if I didn't challenge myself to this goal," George Melichar said.
One of the runners pulling double duty actually won the San Antonio Marathon before finishing tenth in Las Vegas with a pace of under seven minutes a mile.
