Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A bay area commuter train hit and killed two maintenance workers on Saturday.
This comes right in the middle of a huge strike by transit workers, that has shut the system down since Thursday.
Some trains were apparently being moved by non-union staff members for maintenance reasons.
As for the strike, the president of one of the two unions is saying she's going to take the final contract offer to members for a vote.
She is expected to be rejected.
She also used a news conference to try to get the public to understand why they're upset.
Hundreds of thousands of people rely on Bay Area Rapid Transit everyday, and they too are really upset.
