2 people on motorcycle badly injured in Saturday morning crash

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Two people were badly injured Saturday morning after their motorcycle crashed into a truck at the intersection of Polaris Avenue and West Hacienda Avenue.

According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, the crash happened at about 9:40 a.m. The motorcycle was traveling east on Hacienda when it failed to stop and hit a truck driven by a 29-year-old Las Vegas woman.

The 65-year-old man and 60-year-old woman who were on a 2013 Harley-Davidson Road King were transported to University Medical Center. The fatal investigation team was called to the scene.

The man and woman, identified as Brian and Ann Lewis, are from the city of Sunderland in North East England.

The collision is still under investigation.
