2 men arrested for shooting near Sportsman's Royal Manor

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Two men have been arrested for a murder that took place Tuesday morning at the Sportsman's Royal Manor weekly apartments on Boulder Highway.

According to a police report, 911 received a call at about 5:26 a.m. about a vehicle that had crashed into a block wall.

The caller also told 911 that four people wearing hoodies were seen in the area and one person had a gun. Additional witnesses also said they saw the men and heard two or three gunshots before the suspects fled the area.

The victim, later identified as Dylan Salazar, was found in the driver's seat of a 2002 Dodge Ram truck and it appeared that he had been shot in the right eyebrow.

Patrol officers said one of the suspects jump a wall into a yard and a perimeter was established. K9 was brought in. One suspect, later identified as 20-year-old Julio Renteria, was located hiding behind a shed.

Two more people were also arrested in the area. However, it was determined one person was not involved. The other person arrested was 22-year-old Adrian McClintock.

No motive for the shooting was listed in the arrest report.
