Crews called to fire at Shadow Ridge Apartments
Clark County, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County Fire Department was called to an apartment fire Saturday afternoon.
It happened around 4:10 p.m. at the Shadow Ridge Apartments on Arville Street.
When firefighters arrived, they reported light smoke inside the apartment with some smoke showing along the roof line.
They entered the apartment to find fire in the attic around the HVAC system.
The fire was quickly extinguished.
Damage from the fire was kept to the room of origin with some water damage noted to the apartment beneath. It's estimated at $20,000.
Authorities said no injuries were reported.
A total of nine occupants were displaced due to the fire and water damage in the two apartments.
The apartment management and the American Red Cross helped these families with relocation assistance until their apartments are repaired.
