Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- UNLV fans are runnin' wild and looking forward to the big game in San Jose.

The Runnin' Rebels are going head-to-head with the Cal Bears Thursday afternoon in the NCAA Tournament.

But Wednesday, it was all about getting ready and fans who flocked to California to witness it all had a lot to say.

"It's always fun traveling with the team, getting the experience, going on the road with them, seeing all the different events, how people react to when the team comes around, it's always a fun experience," said UNLV fan Mark Giles.

UNLV pride is already evident in San Jose, but many fans will be arriving Thursday morning.

Jason Kabo, director of strength for the Runnin' Rebels, told Action News the team's biggest strength is their sheer athleticism and said if they work together they can beat any opponent.

Tip-off for the UNLV game is Thursday afternoon at 4:27 p.m. at the HP Pavilion.

UNLV and Cal sold out their ticket allotment within 24 hours of the game being announced.
