Motorcycle crash leaves Las Vegas man in critical condition
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A Las Vegas man was taken to the hospital in critical condition following a motorcycle crash.
It happened around 10 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Desert Inn Road and Nellis Boulevard.
Police said a Mercury Sedan was traveling westbound on Desert Inn and stopped in the intersection at Nellis, waiting to turn onto southbound Nellis.
The Harley-Davidson motorcycle, driven by a 63-year-old Las Vegas man, was traveling eastbound on Desert Inn.
As the motorcycle entered the intersection, the Mercury attempted to turn and struck the motorcycle.
The motorcycle driver, whose name has not been released, was transported to Sunrise Trauma Center with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Mercury had minor injuries.
