Storm expected to bring snow, rain to Southern Nevada
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A storm heading for the Las Vegas area is expected to bring snow to the mountains and rain to the Valley.
Snow is likely to hit higher elevations on Wednesday morning, Chief Meteorologist Bryan Scofield said. Snow levels could reach as low as 3,000 feet.
Las Vegas and surrounding cities are likely to see clouds, wind and rain as the storm moves from Southern California into Southern Nevada.
Areas including Summerlin and Mountain's Edge have a slight chance of snow.
The harsh weather is expected to pass by late Wednesday or early Thursday.
