Twitter accounts of Burger King, Jeep and MTV hacked
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- One day after Burger King's Twitter account was hacked, Jeep and MTV's accounts were also infiltrated.
It's not clear whether the incidents are linked in any way.
Monday, Burger King's account was hacked and their logo was changed to that of McDonald's. The account tweeted that Burger King had been sold to McDonald's, along with several other outlandish posts.
The Burger King account was eventually disabled by Twitter.
On Tuesday, someone hacked into the Jeep brand's Twitter account, making false tweets for about an hour, including one that stated the brand had been sold to Cadillac.
The MTV Twitter account became the latest victim of a hack on Tuesday afternoon. Someone changed the logo to that of BET and began posting from the account.
