Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- They live in one of the poorest, most disadvantaged parts of Las Vegas, but kids at the McCabe Clubhouse will be treated to a Valentine's Day party.
A group of Las Vegans will throw the party for the kids.
Action News caught up with them as they started to decorate a local Boys & Girls Club.
We got to know Cory Harper while they were decorating. He's from Las Vegas and grew up in a rough neighborhood, but spent all of his time at a Boys & Girls Club and now works at McCabe Clubhouse.
The party will include food, games, even a photo booth, all donated by local businesses.
The McCabe Clubhouse is in an area with high gang violence, poverty and a low high school graduation rate.
The clubhouse is a lifeline for many kids in the area.
