Controversial dress code issued for Grammy award show

CREATED Feb. 8, 2013

(KTNV) -- The biggest names in music will hit the red carpet this Sunday for the 55th Annual Grammy Awards.

Often times, the crazy show is less about outstanding music and more about bizarre fashion choices.

This year, producers have sent an email to everyone attending the Grammy's that basically says -- cover up!

The email says “Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered…thong type costumes are problematic. Please avoid exposing bare flesh under covers of the buttocks and buttock crack.”

It's no secret that celebrities like to push the fashion envelope at this particular award show. It's the show that always has people talking the next day and usually not about music.

Celebrities also can not wear obvious brand name logs on their shirts and foreign language will have to be cleared.
