Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Bill's Gamblin' Hall & Saloon closed at noon on Monday to undergo a major renovation and name change.
The new name of the property will likely be announced later this year.
The project is set to be complete in 2014 with the much-anticipated Drais Dayclub opening in Spring 2014.
The iconic marquee on the side of the building will also be replaced with a restaurant on the second floor.
Scaffolding will soon envelope the casino. Construction workers will demolish the inside, renovate all of the rooms and revamp several spaces.
Drais Afterhours Nightclub will re-open in a larger space.
Caesars Entertainment tells Action News they will help casino employees find jobs at other properties within the company.
The renovated property is expected to employ 400 more people than Bill's Gamblin' Hall did.
Caesars Entertainment expects to hire about 1500 people in the next year to handle the reconstruction of Bill's and other local projects.
