Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- It is a big weekend in Las Vegas. Super Bowl draws thousands of visitors to the city each year and hotels say they are filling up fast.
The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority is predicting 300,000 people to be in town this weekend for the big game.
Hotels are already more than 90 percent full and many people are here to spend and not just on placing bets on the game.
They will also be shopping and eating.
Bookmaker Jimmy Vaccaro from William Hill Online Sports Betting says the record for Super Bowl betting was $94.5 million in 2006 and he expects this year to pass that total.
The LVCVA expects the influx of football fanatics will bring about $105 million into the Las Vegas economy.
