Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Locked, loaded and ready to fire. Las Vegas is where the national gun debate is a hot topic.
"People should appreciate their second amendment right and the right to bear arms," Matt Supnick, Battlefield Las Vegas, said.
Supnick said he gets customers from all over the world wanting to shoot an automatic and semi-automatic weapon on the range.
"It's just another attraction," Supnick said. "Something else to offer the people and further enhance Las Vegas as a tourist destination."
But you can't buy a semi-automatic rifle here, the shelves are picked clean after a recent surge in gun sales, but some groups just aren't okay with the nations reaction to talk of gun control
"We're not about taking away guns from people, we're about keeping guns out of the hands of dangerous people," Brian Fadie, Ex. Dir. Progress Now Nevada, said.
Fadie's group plans to protest outside Battlefield on Saturday when the NRA will hold a seminar for lawmakers.
"Guns should be taken very seriously," Fadie said. "When the entertainment aspect of it is glorified I think that might send the wrong message."
Battlefield wouldn't talk about the NRA meeting, but it says the more talk of gun control the more curious people get and that's good for business.
