Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- An 18-year-old Florida teenager who has faced a lifetime of sickness and surgery has a new look. A local businessman made it happen.
Daniel Rocha is known across the country for his style of tattoo art called realism. "I love anything that looks like it would be real. Anything that looks like a photograph."
So when Daniel heard about an 18 year old Florida fan battling Lupus--he offered to give him a dream tattoo for free. "It's not every day you get to do something for someone, you know? It feels good."
Rocco flew from Florida with his parents to Seven Tattoo Studio
here in Vegas. Because he's on blood thinners, the work was painstaking. But, seven hours later, the end result was incredible.
Rocha says, "There are a lot of people that don't do things for people. Won't help people out. I don't want to be like that, you know?"
An unusual gift and one happy teenager who is thrilled what happened in Vegas will go home on his arm.
Rocco chose an image of Jesus for protection. He told Daniel he nearly died during his last surgery and having this tattoo is a dream come true.
