Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Some area foster kids went Christmas shopping Sunday, thanks to Valley Automall.
The 15th annual Foster Teens Event adopted 100 Southern Nevada teens in the state foster program for the day.
The teens began their day with breakfast, then headed on a shopping spree.
Each teen received a $100 gift card. Organizers said the teens mostly bought gifts for others, like their siblings or foster parents.
Nevada has 3,000 foster children; more than 100 of them are teens.
