North Las Vegas man allegedly killed by cousin during fight

North Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A 32-year-old man was shot and killed early Sunday morning at a home in the 3600 block of Terneza Avenue, near Pecos Road and East Tropical Parkway.

North Las Vegas Police responded to a call at around 1:42 a.m. Dec. 9. The man was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.

According to the preliminary investigation, the man was allegedly shot during an altercation with his cousin, Neftali Felipe Rodriguez.

Rodriguez was located by the police about an hour and a half after the shooting, walking near Interstate 15 and Craig Road. He was taken into custody without incident. A gun was recovered during the arrest.

Rodriguez was booked into the Las Vegas City Jail on one count each of murder with a deadly weapon and carrying a concealed firearm.
